Der Werkstoff 1.4541 / X6CrNiTi18-10 ist ein nichtrostender austenitischer Stahl. Er ist die titanstabilisierte Ausführung des 1.4301 und hat gute Korrosionseigenschaften. Er kann ohne Gefahr der interkristalinen Korrosion gut geschweißt werden und ist gut kalt umformbar. Der 1.4541 wird daher für Schweißteile im chemischen Apparatebau wie auch in der Lebensmittelindustrie eingesetzt. Aber auch in der Kerntechnik, im Maschinenbau, im Armaturenbau oder der petrochemie findet er Verwendung. Er ist bis 550°C einsetzbar.
